Curating the Curious
Welcome to Curating the Curious, the podcast that celebrates staying curious in life and never settling into a box.
This show is for the creators, the seekers, the explorers, the truth tellers….and the forever students of life.
No matter what age or stage you’re currently at, this is not as good as it gets and it is never too late to begin.
Join me as we explore all of the questions that come with the idea of curiosity. A place where the possibilities are endless and you can always start again.
We expand our lives through curiosity. One of my greatest passions is finding ways to encourage and inspire others to keep pushing, sharing, living, and making things for the world to see.

Day 18- Protect & Prioritize Your PEACE
Let's make a pact to disconnect from any negativity and prioritize our mental health. Make some bread, hug a tree, unplug that television. Let's find some peace and make some art.
Welcome to DAY EIGHTEEN of our new 30-day COMMUNITY PROJECT where we make something with our hands every day in order to improve our mental health. We all realize that creativity heals...it's time to put that knowledge into action.
These episodes will exist here, marked with the days numbered, in order for you to follow along at any speed that you like. Miss a day? Doesn't matter. Just pick up right where you left off and keep making things. These episodes will give us all some accountability, but if you need more, pair up with a partner. It really does help!
Join our creative community by making something today, whether it's for five minutes or several hours—your brain will thank you. Let's do this thing together and turn all of this sh*t into something beautiful!

protect your peace, prioritize it. Almost nothing else matters right now. It's time to disconnect yourself from anything that feels negative. Remove the social media apps from your phone, put your phone down, turn the news off, find positive people to surround yourself with and, if you can't, go on a walk alone in nature I'm talking to myself, but I'm recording it. I take back anything I said in previous episodes about needing to stay aware of what's going on right now and stay on top of things and stay informed. You don't need to be informed 24-7, and especially not right now.
LeAnna Azzolini:Take a break, take a breath. Go feel the sun on your skin. Breathe some fresh air. Go have some fun. Breathe some fresh air. Go have some fun. Surround yourself with joyful people, people who uplift you, people that you can uplift.
LeAnna Azzolini:There is a mind virus out there and it can't reach you. If you're not on the social media, if you're not watching the news, if you're not taking in all of that hateful stuff, the mind virus cannot reach you. They want us to hate one another, they want us to argue, they want us pitted against one another. They want us fighting. Don't do it, just walk away. Go find your peace, prioritize it. Make a piece of art, make a loaf of bread, go swimming, go walking, go running, go play pickleball, go write in your journal, go read a book, go sit under a tree anything but taking in all of the negativity that is being sent out to us over the airwaves.
LeAnna Azzolini:My entire reason for doing this 30-day series was to heal, finding ways to heal. If you haven't already downloaded this app it is called Insight Timer downloaded this app. It is called Insight Timer and it's a meditation app. It's free and it has all sorts of meditations on it. It has like the kind where people speak to you and lead you through it. It has Sarah Blondin, who I highly, highly recommend for anyone who needs something that's going to touch them and get you through a difficult time. They have a sound bath, healing meditations. They have all sorts. You can just kind of like search through it and find the types that connect with you.
LeAnna Azzolini:But Insight Timer, that is an app that has really, really saved me and brought me to a more positive place when I've been feeling inundated with. You know the world affairs, nature is one of the most healing things you can give yourself, even just sitting on grass, sitting under a tree on grass, grounding yourself for 10 minutes, huge, going on a walk if you can, if you have the time, if you have the space, feeling sunshine on your skin, if it's available, breathing the fresh air with the sunshine. I don't even know if I'm being particularly helpful right now. I just feel this urge to say protect your peace, prioritize it, focus on it and if you haven't written down that list of the seeds that you're looking to plant, do it today.
