Welcome to DAY TWELVE of our new 30-day COMMUNITY PROJECT where we make something with our hands every day in order to improve our mental health. We all realize that creativity heals...it's time to put that knowledge into action.

I'm going to publish an episode for you to follow along with several days of each week (I'll take breaks on Fridays and weekends in order to give you time to catch up as needed). These episodes will exist here, marked with the days numbered, in order for you to follow along at any speed that you like. Miss a day? Doesn't matter. Just pick up right where you left off and keep making things. These episodes will give us all some accountability, but if you need more, pair up with a partner. It really does help!

Join our creative community by making something today, whether it's for five minutes or several hours—your brain will thank you. Let's do this thing together and turn all of this sh*t into something beautiful!

There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action. And because there is only one of you in all time. This expression is unique and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, not how it compares with other expression. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open.

Martha Graham, I know I've read this before. I have no idea how many years ago it was, but I needed to do it again because this is a reminder for anybody out there who's got something percolating in them and you're doubting it. Oh what if it's not good enough? Oh what if it doesn't compare to all of the other blah, blah, blahs out there. This quote reminds you that it doesn't matter. It's coming through you. Let it out and keep the channel open. Even if you affect one life, even if that life is just your own, it was worth it.

Today, I'm going to focus on something a little bit different for the project, and I think that this is something that everybody that's listening should do for today's project. Write down these words what are the seeds that I want to plant? This question is coming from Chani Nicholas, and I listen to her every week. I just like to hear her rundown of what she says is going to be coming up each week, and then I always check back and see how correct it was, and I'm telling you like every time it's correct. So, since Chani has some really good things to say about this week, I thought I would put this in for today's project. So Chani says that this week we are entering a time of auspiciousness, which is a time that is very conducive to success. She says that we are beginning a cycle of good in our lives and right now is the time to sit down and map it all out those seeds that we want to plant. And here's what she says about planting those seeds.

Speaker 0:

She says what I need you to focus on is what you are beginning, not the results of something, not the proof of concept, not the proof of the work, not proof of anything. I just want you to think about the things that you want to begin, the seeds that you want to plant, and this is what I want you to be thinking about when you're planting these seeds. What is the most abundant way to go about this, what is the most abundant thing I could do, what is the most generous attitude that I could have while I'm going about the business of starting this thing and what is the most appreciation that I could have for the process? How can I support myself in feeling more generous, more abundant and more grateful for what is already taking place? She says that the power of this moment and the potential of this moment is rooted in what is already here. It's rooted in what is local.

Speaker 0:

We're beginning a cycle of good in our lives and right now is the time to sit down and map it all out. Map out those seeds that you've been wanting to plant, and do it today, or at least this week for sure. If I were you, I would just write down all of those questions that I read and answer them. All kind of map it out, really get a feel for these new seeds that you want to grow. And you could always listen to her entire episode if you want on her podcast. It's called Astrology of the Week Ahead with Chani Nicholas. Regardless of whether you believe in astrology or not, take advantage of this auspicious time and make your plans. Do it with intention and see where it takes you. It can't hurt. And until tomorrow, stay curious.
