Slow Burn with Michael Ash Smith

Today we have Michael Ash Smith from Unvaeled and Mber Creative. Michael wears many hats and this conversation covered it all. In this episode we discussed:

• the backstory of Unvaeled and how his magazine Unvael Journal came to be
• the social media algorithm and why we shouldn’t take low engagement personally
• how to embrace reels and rather than fighting the current (while maintaining your artistic integrity)
• how to begin in analog photography and the beauty of slowing things down
• self portraits and the different ways they can support our ability to interact with clients (most importantly though, the therapeutic side of it all)
